Dr Hussain has a variety of skills that he puts to use in practice. He has the skill set to tackle all aspects of routine dentistry both NHS and Private. He has a particular interest in Advanced Restorative Dentistry such as tooth wear cases, crown and bridgework as well more Aesthetic Dentistry such as veneers and minimally invasive composite smile makeovers and regularly incorporates orthodontics and implants, when needed in his treatment plans to reduce the biological cost of invasive dentistry. This is all been done in line with the ethos of modern dentistry where less is more. He enjoys Intravenous Sedation Dentistry and regularly sees nervous and phobic patients, some of whom have unfortunately had the bad experiences of the older more aggressive approach to dentistry. Caries (decay) is a preventable disease and we feel at the practice that prevention is better than cure and we employ modern caries management processes into our care. Digital Photography in dental practice is at the cutting edge of dentistry today and we use these tools regularly in our day-to-day practice.
Dr Hussain has over 11 years experience working in both NHS and Private healthcare. He values the NHS system and believes it is fundamental to healthcare in Britain and continues to enjoy NHS dentistry to this day.
He has built strong relationships with all his patents over the years that value the skills he has to offer. More importantly patients value his approachable manner and his detailed manner of discussing all the options available to them, with all the advantages and disadvantages.
In his spare time his main passions are tennis and mountain biking. Having sports in his blood, he also has won competitions at local levels in snooker, table tennis, go-karting and football. These days most of his spare time is devoted to raising his 2 young daughters.
