Sophie qualified with Merit in Clinical Dentistry from Newcastle University and received the prestigious John Hopkins Award in her final year. She has gone on to be awarded a further qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons and continues to develop her skills with numerous postgraduate courses. Her experience working as both a Senior House Officer and a Clinical Fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in hospitals throughout Bedfordshire has lead her to develop her surgical skills and management of jaw joint problems. Sophie has presented her academic work at both regional and national levels, and has recently won an award from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Sophie's passion for dentistry is evident with her enthusiastic but friendly approach to her work. She has built a reputation for putting anxious patients and children at ease and has completed many cosmetic treatments to date, including teeth whitening treatments. Her commitment tofurthering her skills has lead her to undertake a Masters Degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at Manchester University.

Sophie is an active member for the Local Dental Committee and also holds memberships with numerous dental organisations including the British Dental Association, the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry and the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.

Outside dentistry, Sophie enjoys live music, skiing and triathlons.
